Combe Farm Cottage is situated in Spreyton, which is closeby to the towns of Okehampton and North Tawton where popular BBC programme Jam & Jerusalem is filmed.
The nearest airport is Exeter International Airport, or alternatively if you are travelling from a little further afield Bristol International Airport is about 90 minutes drive away.
There is a train station locally in nearby Copplestone which runs along the famous Tarka Line, and can take you up to Barnstaple or over to the Beautiful city of Exeter.

In your cottage you will find all the information you need on places of interest nearby, where to eat, drink and shop. With easy access to the A30 and being only 15 miles from the Cornwall border means that many attractions are close at hand.
The sea and sandy beaches at Bude in Cornwall are approx 30 mins drive away, the North and South Devon coasts are also easily accessible. Having the benefit of being in West Devon means that you can choose North or South depending on the local weather conditions for the day!
Within the property there is a wealth of information about the local beaches, so if you want calm or surf, rocky or sandy there will be a beach closeby that suits your individual taste.

There are many breathtaking walks, plenty of historical sites and buildings and lots of fun places to visit as a family. As you would expect there are also many rural Inns and excellent restaurants nearby, including our very own village pub The Tom Cobley, voted National CAMRA pub of the year Tom Cobley is child friendly, has a beer garden and in addition to it’s renowned real ales serves great food.
For those with young families the Waie Inn at Zeal Monorchorum is a short drive away offering excellent all weather facilities for children including: Outdoor adventure playground, animals, indoor soft play, indoor swimming pool, and childrens skittle alley.
