What to expect
Our single unit cottage has been converted to a high standard in the first part of 2008. With a spacious and comfortable living room, breakfast kitchen and beautiful views from every window, your comfort is our priority.
Your beds will be fully made up on arrival, and a welcome pack will await you filled with those 1st day necessities such as coffee, milk, tea, bread and butter. Also awaiting you will be freshly laid eggs from our own free range hens.
If you have children the cottage will be equipped with age appropriate DVD’s, Videos and Toys and safety equipment for babies and toddlers.
Why not enjoy a dip in the swimming pool, whilst the children help to feed the hens and collect the eggs, spend the day by the beach or visit one of Devon’s many tourist attractions. In the evening why not pay a visit to the Tom Cobley Pub in the village for a relaxed night out and super food or head off to one of the many other rural Inns we have close by. The Tom Cobley also has a locally renowned Sunday carvery (we will be happy to book you a table if you give us prior notice)
For local food shopping nearby North Tawton (where the BBC series Jam & Jerusalem is filmed) has various shops and takeaways, where most everyday needs can be catered for. If you would like a larger supermarket then nearby Okehampton has a Waitrose and Somerfield.
Within the cottage is a full information pack about directions to local shops, where to go and what to do, both locally and regionally.
